Having played hundreds of weddings and corporate events, he can easily mix timeless hits with contemporary bangers for an unforgettable party.

Themos “Apicos” Rizos started experimenting with his parents’ record player and double cassette deck at a very young age, playing Beatles and rock ‘n’ roll records. He later discovered mixers and CD players before playing his first sets in bars in Thessaloniki and parties in Germany and Belgium.

Obsessed with everything retro, he loves swing and 50s music, but whenever needed he can easily transition from Elvis and Ray Charles to the 90s, 00s and 10s. So a single dj set by Apicos can merge soul, funk, disco and the latest R ‘n’ B or house hits- always tailored to the unique needs of every event.

He has been the resident at Black Duck Garden since 2008, having also played at The Uptown and other bars in Athens. But his main specialty is weddings and corporate events all around Greece.
